White Beer Mussels SM
I have had mussels all over the world and I love them. Our friends brought us here and we arrived looking forward to a variety of flavors. Sadly, I found the Muniere was tastless, I ordered the garlic and cream variety hoping to get that garlic punch but no winner here it was tasteless. What a disappointment!
Meatballs Liegeoise review by Kevin
Boulets à la Liégeoise – A True Belgian Gem! ★★★★★ I recently tried Boulets à la Liégeoise (those famous Belgian meatballs from Liège) at a cozy bistro, and wow – it was an absolute revelation! These aren't your ordinary meatballs; they're massive, juicy balls made from a perfect blend of pork and beef, seasoned just right with onions and parsley, and then smothered in the most incredible sweet-savory sauce. The magic is in that rich gravy – made with caramelized onions, a touch of beer for depth, and the star ingredient: Sirop de Liège (that amazing apple-pear syrup that adds a subtle fruity sweetness without being overpowering). Paired with crispy frites (Belgian fries, of course!) for dipping, it's pure comfort food heaven. Tender, flavorful, and utterly satisfying – every bite transports you straight to Belgium. If you're tired of the usual spaghetti and meatballs, this is a must-try. Hearty, unique, and downright delicious. I'll be craving these again soon! Highly recommend – 10/10!
Crêpes Flambées review by Jennifer
OMG this is the best! They come out to the table. They light orange liquor on fire and pour it over the crêpes. Definitely have your camera ready.
Falafel review by Jennifer
The falafel is super good. Not dry, not bland, and the lentils give it a nice balance. Love having a vegan option like this on the menu.
Boeuf Bourguignon review by Kaila
The best bourgiungon I've ever had! The best parts are the bacon bits and pearl onions.
White Beer Mussels SM
AWESOME! The best two meals, while in Southern California, last week! Although a very authentic Belgian favorite, flavor, LOVED LOVED the Chicons au Gratin that brought back childhood memories, not to mention the cheese croquettes... If you want a real Belgian style meal, visit Brussels Bistro! The mussels are ALWAYS the best - BIG :-) and the flavors are amazing.
Kale & Goat Cheese Salad review by Jennifer
My favorite salad, hands-down! I add chicken. 😋
Mussels & Fries review by Jennifer
The mussels are amazing. They have like 11 different varieties to choose from, and on Tuesdays it's all-you-can-eat for $39 (normally one order is $29). I was maxed out after three, honestly. They also give you unlimited bread and fries — and the fries are SO good. They're cooked in beef tallow, which makes sense once you taste them. Pro tip: don't go too hard on the bread lol, it will fill you up fast, even though it's amazing dipped in the broth. My favorite flavors were the blue cheese (hear me out 😂 — even if you're not usually into blue cheese, it's really good), the green curry which is super light, and the yellow curry if you want a stronger curry flavor. The white beer and the cream & garlic were also really good. Definitely worth it, especially on Tuesday.
Trout Almondine review by Jennifer
The trout almondine was absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked trout filled with tender spinach, finished with a crisp almond crust that added just the right amount of texture and flavor. Balanced, fresh, and incredibly satisfying. This is 1 of my 3 top favorite things on the menu.
Caesar Salad review by Kaila
Unique dressing for a Cesar salad. Very good with salmon or chicken
